our mission

The mission of the Northwest Tennis Academy is to help our juniors identify goals and reach their full potential through teaching respect, attention to detail, hard work, life values and honesty guided by an experienced and enthusiastic coaching team.

At the core of this mission we aim to provide a fun and safe environment for your child to build confidence and character on and off the court.

• To promote the growth and development of The Northwest Tennis Academy in order to achieve maximum potential for the tennis community and The Courts @ East facility.
• To create an environment where tennis players and families of all ages and skill levels can progress their games and make new friends through providing a range of activities that caters for all tennis player’s needs.

PARENTS: Without parents, you wouldn’t be playing tennis. Treat your parents with respect, always. We will respect all parent’s choice to use missing tennis as a form of discipline for students who fail to show them the respect they fully deserve.

SCHOOL: School is all about short-term and long-term future which is very important. We will respect any parent’s choice to use missing tennis as a form discipline for students who are not meeting the required standards they set for their child at school.

TENNIS: Tennis is a privilege for students to be given the chance to participate in. Without parents and school, there is no tennis.

COACHING: Tennis coaching sessions and squads are like lunch. Time for kids to forget about school and other issues. It’s their time to do something they love which is theirs, to work hard and have fun. Let the Northwest Tennis Academy handle this part.

• To promote, develop, manage and deliver quality tennis programs in Tamworth and the North West region of New South Wales.
• To develop the knowledge and skill sets of the professional coaching staff of the Northwest Tennis Academy to allow the team to stay at the forefront of “Worlds best practice” coaching methods.
• The Northwest Tennis Academy aim to aid and assist, to the best of its ability, The Courts @ East board, on a pathway to seeing the venue developed into a five-star tennis facility for the community, and the clients of the Northwest Tennis Academy along with the members social and competition groups.
• To always strive for excellence on all levels of professionalism.
• To develop and build a structure for succession planning in the future. With this aim in mind to ensure the long term viability and legacy of The Courts @ East and The Northwest Tennis Academy.
